Message from Glenn Purpura, St. Alexander Principal
I was just informed from Father Tuan that Bishop Sartain has decided that St. Alexander School will remain open. Sister Helen informed me that I will be receiving a letter tomorrow on the specifics.
I am excited and thrilled of the Bishop's decision. All of the hard work and prayer by everyone has made this day possible.
I will get a more formal letter out to everyone tomorrow. Now we can say, "Catholics Come Home to St. Alexander School." Let us rejoice in the good news.
In God's peace,
Glenn F. Purpura, Principal
Infant of Prague, pray for us.

We ARE the miracle of the season! Despite all the odds we did it! WE ARE ST. A's

Yes, rejoice! Yes, THANK YOU to all who have stepped up dedicated themselves to saving our school. And yes, keep praying and working hard to keep our momentum going. Finally: YES, thank God!

So, who is hosting the volunteer party? I think everyone deserves a fun night out!

Thank-you to all invovled in keeping this great school open. But let's not get complacent. We need more students. Our alumni and current students are the best advertisements.
My kids were shouting for joy with the news. I have told them to tell their non-school friends how great their school is. I have not promoted the school as much as I should have, but I will be making much more of an effort to talk with non-school parents about the benefits of St. A's.
Once again thanks to everyone involved in keeping the school open.

To everyone who lent their support to keep the school open, THANK YOU! The response of alumni, past and present school parents, parishioners and just people of good will has been overwhelming. It makes you think that maybe God still has use for this instrument for passing along the Faith to a new generation.
Quite honestly, the way circumstances developed over the last few years, it seemed as though everything that could go wrong, did. Never discount the power of hard work.... and prayer.
